When Russia worked hard to avoid drone attacks, a “furry” chariot was found in Ukraine

Russian chariot appears on the battlefield in eastern Ukraine, with unusual new appearance-spike bristles and long wave-shaped “hair”.

The strange modification displayed on the Russian national television station is the latest impromptu defense measures to resist the rapid development of drones developed by both parties.

The vehicle is considered to be a rusty BMP-1. It is painted on the metal plate in the basic design used in the First World War to cover the weak location in the armor and is called “Cope Cages”.

However, the new is hanging on the steel roll tube opened by the vehicle, revealing it backwards, and on the side, the thick broom -shaped bristles are poked out of the holes.

The additives similar to hair seem to be to maintain a small explosive FPV (first-person view) drone-it has become ubiquitous on the Ukrainian battlefield.

Rusi’s military and defense analyst Oleksandr Danylyuk told the Telegraph that he had never seen such defense before.

Earlier this week

Earlier this week, the State -owned Russian Channel 1 Channel was shot and broadcast BMP similar to a movement shed, near the Bakhmut near the Donetsk area. Since last year, the Russian army since last year, Always moving forward steadily.

Valerii Riabykh, an editor of the Ukrainian weapon expert and the National Defense Express, said that he believes that hair and bristles are used to “start the fuse on the FPV warhead prematurely to prevent any serious damage caused by any artificial protection.”

Mr. Riabykh added that temporary modification is part of the wider effort to protect the armored vehicle from increasingly complex drone volume.

In the first year of the war, people were worried that tanks and combat vehicles would become outdated after the tanks and combat vehicles could hit or die deadly by hitting their defensive capabilities in the lowest defense ability.

However, although the painting of mobile sheds is the key to survival on the battlefield, especially when explosive armored and high -end electronic warfare (EW) systems are also tied to the battlefield.

Fiber drone

Mr. Riabykh also pointed out that the “furry” BMP may be a specific response to the new FPV used by both parties. These reactions are controlled by fiber fiber cables to prevent electronic interference from being shot down.

Last year, military officials estimated that 75 % of Ukraine and Russian drones were knocked down by electric impulses, which disturbed the radio frequency of pilots used to guide drones.

However, the fiber drone (first discovered earlier this month) provides a stable connection for the soldiers on the ground. The drone strike is currently temporarily carried out, although the scope is more limited.

The so -called “unreasonable” weapon is the latest example for fighting the high -tech EW system, because Russia and Ukraine continue their complicated cats and small drone war games on the 700 -mile front.
