Raducanu’s former youth coach Cavaday, who has known her since she was 10, announced his decision in a statement.

Kavadi said in a statement: “At this moment it’s important to spend more time at home and prioritize all health, which is hard to do with a huge calendar. I’m delighted Emma is back and now in Established on Tour.”

In the spring of 2023, the 22-year-old Englishman reunited with Cavaday after undergoing ankle surgery and surgery last spring to provide a rebound season.

Raducanu, the 2021 U.S. Open champion who was ranked No. 58 last season, enters the final four games of the 2024 season in the round of 16 and quarterfinals in Washington, D.C.

“I’d like to thank Nick for a great partnership over the past year, especially behind the scenes,” Lakanu said. “I wish him all the best in his next chapter and no doubt we will Stay in touch.”


The 150th-ranked Briton made history by becoming the first player (or woman) to qualify for and win a Grand Slam singles title at the 2021 U.S. Open.

This stunning flush-turf victory accelerated Ladanu’s learning curve, she said, by exposing her to the sport’s “sharks.”

Currently ranked 61st, Ladanu advanced to the third round of the Australian Open last week.

Swiatek lasted 11 straight games with a 6-1, 6-0 run to charge into the fourth round of the Australian Open for the fifth time.

Raducanu is now competing with Cavaday, Nigel Sears, Andrew Richardson, Torben Beltz, Ian Iain Bates will seek the seventh coach of her career after teaming up with Sebastian Sachz.
