Cheers to golf, the activity we love to hate, reward and punish, which is what this website is called.

Here’s to golf beer, the game’s icy companion that both glorifies our triumphs and soothes our wounds.
Bravo to these rankings, which recognize the best golf brews!
Four cheers in total, and that was intentional. This is the fourth annual edition of these ratings, and the memories are happy and joyful. The first year, we went wild; the author was just trying to find the top beer with golf in the name. Our homebrew program continued to grow during the second year; Chad Underwood, a golf and beer enthusiast from Ohio, joined the group and together we rated the best golf beers overall, the best beers for golf clubs, and the best beers named after golf. ranked. Last year we were joined again; welcomed by the brilliant and creative co-founder of Cushwa Brewing Company, Scott Coleman, who gave the event extra legitimacy.
Year 4 saw a similar move, with Ryan Guthy pulling up a stool at our bar and our pint glasses filled with the same excitement. Guthy is one of the co-founders of Wicked Weed Brewing, one of the country’s craft beer giants. Yes, we have a foursome now.
Here’s the best part, though:
The trio and the author all went to work. No hangovers here.
We’re ranking the best beers with golf in their name. We’re selecting the best beers in golf clubs. We’re ranking the best golf beers overall. Here’s what we found.
But before we begin, two important notes:
Our rankings should be marked as the beginning of a pub conversation, not the end. Geography and taste play a big role here, and we were just four golfers who also enjoyed the foam.
So…if you think beer should be in any rating…

Here are the ratings for 2024. cheers!
