Springfield Thunderbirds have acquired defenseman Calen Addison From the Henderson Silver Knights to future considerations.
Addison, 24, signed an AHL contract with Henderson on October 24, 2024, and scored 33 points in 49 games with the Silver Knights this season. After recording 8 points in four games, he was selected as Howies Hockey Video/AHL player for the Japanese Week 20-26.
Addison is Man. He was voted for the AHL AHL All-Rookie team in 2020-21.
Addison started as Pittsburgh’s second round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, making 152 appearances in the NHL with Minnesota and San Jose, recording six goals and 44 assists and 50 points.
