WWE legend Hulk Hogan hears boos on Monday Night RAW, LA fans face criticism

WWE legends Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart made a special appearance at the Intuit Dome to watch “Monday Night Raw” premiere on Netflix.
Hogan performed his “Real America” theme song while Hart waved an American flag in the background. When Hogan attempted to create a promo for his Real American Beer brand (which signed a deal with WWE prior to the show), he was booed by the Los Angeles crowd.

The 71-year-old WWE Hall of Famer was seen for several minutes before he walked to the back.
While Los Angeles viewers were quick to voice their displeasure, not everyone watching Raw on Netflix was happy with how Hogan was treated. “The Hulkster” found defenders on social media.
“Hulk Hogan is booed probably because California is the biggest left-wing state in the country. Fuck your politics and watch wrestling,” one Hogan fan wrote on X.
“I love Hulk Hogan. The guy had a whole life, made some mistakes, so what. F–g people act holier than holy. P— off,” another Hogan defender added.

Another fan wrote: “Btw the booing for Hulk Hogan was awesome, he’s a legend, respect him.”
“Hulk Hogan got booed on Raw because he’s MAGA. F—-n’ hypocrite. Without Hogan you wouldn’t be watching WWE. Grow up and Trump is your president,” another Bit added.
It was Hogan’s first appearance since the election season when he threw his weight behind President-elect Trump. Hogan was seen standing in Trump’s corner during a rally at Madison Square Garden in October and the Republican National Convention in July.
He also appeared on “The PBD Podcast” and revealed why he decided to speak out, noting the assassination attempt on Trump this summer.
“It affects me even more when they try to kill Trump, a person I know,” he said. “I sat up on the couch and I said, ‘This is it, this has got to stop.’ As a businessman, I don’t want to divide my audience, but right now I don’t care, this is bigger than business, this is a A spiritual revolution.
“This man came out trying to help people. He wanted to help millions of people. He wanted to help America. To have God in our country, in our families, in our schools, I said, ‘I can’t take this anymore.'”
Hogan’s appearance in Los Angeles comes about two months after Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the election.
