Curry will also leverage the resources of Under Armour’s global sports marketing team to further the initiative.
His goal is to help Davidson athletes compete at the highest level, especially in today’s evolving college sports landscape where players can now profit from their names, images and similarities, an opportunity he was unable to obtain during his college days (2006-09).

Steph explained that the goal is to invest in Davidson’s next student-athletes.
“They don’t have to cut down what the market says, and should be part of what it means to be a Davidson Scholar Athlete in your academic experience,” Curry said. “The commitment to the four-year graduation process offers countless opportunities for sports or life changers.”
He continued: “We have the ability to be the resource and voice committee for the program, while also supporting every student-athletes, establishing personal relationships with everyone to help them guide their every step of the way through Davidson’s experience.”
