The WTA refuses to provide further information about the case to protect the confidentiality of the persons involved.
“Following this process, the suspension is still in place,” the statement said. “To protect the confidentiality and integrity of the investigation and its findings, the WTA will not be able to provide further details. For those unfamiliar with the case, the WTA announced that it temporarily suspended Vukov in January when Rybakina tried to bring her back to her team. Rybakina’s decision was that he was coached by Goran Ivanisevic after parting ways with Vukov in 2024, which surprised many.

A temporary suspension prevents Vukov from obtaining certificates for approved events.
Rybakina and Vukov split up their way last August after winning Wimbledon titles in five production years, but there is also speculation that the coach has abused his players. However, Rybakina strongly rejected the reports.
Rybakina has no news yet in Doha matches – she beat Peyton Stearns 6-2, 6-4 on Tuesday and will be on Wednesday’s 16 Facing Rebecca Sramkova in the round.
