We’ll get closer to that reality in early 2025, as Bradley is just 2 shots behind the leader at the Sony Open with 18 holes to play. The 38-year-old will captain the U.S. Ryder Cup team in September, but if he continues to play like he has over the past 18 months, he will surely find himself in the captaincy role.
Bradley shot deep in Honolulu on Saturday with a 64 and eight birdies to move into contention. He trailed JJ Spaun by two points entering the final day. A win would move Bradley into the top 12 of the current U.S. Ryder Cup standings, and you know what that means. The team has twelve players.

Bradley has repeatedly said he would only play in the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black if he were to automatically qualify for the team, which would require him to finish in the top six. Make progress towards this goal. A victory would push him to No. Ranked seventh in the Official World Golf Rankings, a career high.
