Dwight Howard is feuding with Shaquille O’Neal again and says the two should “keep fighting” if it comes to that.
“Never disrespected him,” Howard said of Shaq. GAUD SHOW. “But he always had something to say. Sometimes I would get upset and I’d be like, ‘Yo, Shaq, this has to stop, man. I tried [talk to him]”.
Dwight then explained how when he competes dance with the stars Last year, he met someone close to Shaq who suggested they settle their dispute once and for all.
“At this point, I’m like, ‘Do we need to raise our hands? What are we doing?'” Dwight said. “Because I’ve never — for me, the only thing I’ve ever done with Shaq is imitate his voice. But how else can I imitate him? He’s Shaquille O’Neal, he’s the all-time great The most dominant center ever. But he’s still talking bad about me. So it’s like, ‘Hey man, do we really need to keep arguing?
He continued, “My biggest pet peeve is that he always thinks I’m trying to be him or be like him,” Howard said. “But if I want to be you or be like you, shouldn’t you take that as a compliment and show how great you are as a player or as a person? I never wanted to be Shaq on any level. Now, do I want to take something from him, from his life, and put it into my life? Yeah. I did that with Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, LeBron James, all these guys.
Shaq saw Howard’s comments and responded on X, vowing to never mention Howard’s name again.
“You think it’s funny that I care about you, but I will never say your name again, big sensitive guy, a guy who can’t take a joke,” Shaq wrote on X on Monday. Your name comes up again. Have a nice day, now that you have been deleted. Have a nice day.
Dwight replied on X, still claiming Shaq was jealous of NBA stars.
“I know you care. Because you insecure guys have been hating and talking crap for twenty years. “You want[o] So insecure. I hope you won’t mention my name again. 52 tweet me. And it’s still annoying. Now you’ve been joking. You are jealous all the time. Jealous of Kobe [Bryant]Penny [Hardaway], [Dwyane Wade]. Are you jealous of Charles? [Barkley] also.
“Go around, lazy, insecure big ass. I still have that long 5 paragraph DM you sent me years ago telling me I wasn’t that annoying. And you’re still doing this Do. It’s 2025, grow up and move on.
