Scottie Pippen thinks his broken relationship with Jordan is irreparable

Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan are the best duo on the basketball court, but that doesn’t mean they have a great relationship off the court.
Their relationship has soured in a very public way over the years, and Pippen recently gave a very real answer as to why he thinks their broken relationship will never truly be mended.
“I just think Michael is a very difficult person to deal with,” Pippen said on the PBD Podcast. “I played with him for many years, so I know that when you need to go in your direction, go in your direction. Don’t sit there and try to stall or delay because your relationship is no longer what it was. , or is no longer the same and will never be the same, so why try to make something out of nothing? or try to create something that never existed?
Scotty went on to explain that when he and Jordan attended Bulls parties and social events together, it was never just the two of them, so they weren’t actually that close.
“I think the last three championships we won we were training together at his house, but other than that we didn’t really devote a lot of time away from basketball. Most of our time was spent working out or on the practice court,” he explained.
While Pippen has clearly disliked his former teammate of late, he admits in the book that the breakdown of their friendship wasn’t entirely Jordan’s fault.
“I don’t usually let our lack of intimacy bother me,” Pippen wrote. “I have a lot of friends. Yet sometimes, when I think about the relationships I want the two of us to have, going to the doctor is definitely one of them, and it hurts. It hurts. I’m by no means an innocent here. I’m missing out Some chance that something might make a difference, I have to live with that.
