Djokovic, who met in Wells, India today, said he felt his Australian Open semifinal was his best tennis ball since he won the Serbian Olympic gold medal at the Paris Olympics last summer.

Grand Slam King Djokovic, who was forced to retire from the Australian Open semifinals due to a torn left leg muscle, said the two will continue to work with Roland Garros and “Hope” Wimbledon.

“I think our match was a great match in Australia and I love the way I play, to be honest,” Djokovic told the media on Indian Wells. “Unfortunately, it’s unfortunate to finish the match the way I do, but it’s an injury issue.

“But as far as games are concerned, I think I’ve played, maybe I’ve played the best tennis ball for quite some time. Actually, since the Olympics. So I definitely attribute it to my work with Andy.”

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Murray spent some time thinking about the cooperation after Melbourne. Djokovic said Murray talked to his family about how much time he could spend on the tour, and the two agreed to resume their Sunshine dual partnership in India’s Wells and Miami.

“So, when he decided to move on, India Wells, Miami, yes, I’m very happy,” Djokovic said. “It’s obvious that we’re going to speak after Miami, but I think the plan is to go all the way to the end of Roland Garros, and I think, yes, hopefully, and hopefully Wimbledon.

“You know, I enjoyed my relationship with Andy. I still feel like we’re going through a process of getting to know each other on the court with the way we’ve known each other for 25 years. So, it’s obviously a new role.

“You know, he’s still exploring it and trying to understand how he’s doing well. I’m trying to communicate as much as possible on the court, on the court, in court to enable us to connect better.”

Djokovic is playing for his 100th professional title during Sunshine Doubles and will be on the 25th Grand Slam crown at the record-breaking Roland Garros.

In extensive interviews Chris Hoy’s Sports Misfortune Murray shares why he agreed to coach his former competitor.

“I think about it [Novak] Becoming one of the best athletes ever, so having the opportunity to help him coach him was something I felt I couldn’t refuse because I probably didn’t have the chance [again],” Murray told Chris Hoy On his podcast. “Who knows how long he will play?”
