Parker Meadows missed at least four weeks

Parker Meadow‘tiggers manager aj hinch Tell reporters (including Cody Stavanhagen of track and field) that outfielders need four weeks of rest after receiving one Neuroconduction test. Meadows was bound by a problem with the muscle nerve in the upper right arm, which prevented him from throwing.
This problem has plagued grasslands for most of the month, and the uncertain nature of nerve-related injuries has opened the door, as nerves can technically “wake up” at any time (an overview using Hinch). However, the consequences of this test have left people with how much time Meadows will miss in the near term, but the outfielder and team will wait and see how his right arm responds well to him.
Hinch said that because the problem is limited to his right arm, the grass can participate in other limited baseball activities besides throwing. This leads to hope that Meadows can resume action relatively quickly once it is cleared, but even in the best case of cleaning healthy bills in four weeks, Meadows can do some cumulative time in spring training and minor league rehabilitation tasks. It seems the Tigers will put the grass on the 10-day IL, as the 60-day placement will mean that Meadows won’t be able to play on the event lineup until the end of May.
It was a very unfortunate and frustrating situation for Meadows, a great defensive player who seemed to be turning on the plate late last season. His 2024 season started a tough start between cold stretches on the plate, relegated to Triple-A Toledo, and then my month-long IL was in trouble due to a hamstring injury after Meadows was asked to return to the majors. Once he returned from IL, Meadows finally took a big step, hitting the ball in his last 201 set.296/.340/.500, which helped lead Detroit to Detroit.
Just as he solidified his position as a daily center outfielder, Meadows will join now Matt Vierling On IL, make the tiger thin in the outfield. The plan is for Wenceel Perez Meadows with private company missed most of the game time in the center field Andy Ibanes,,,,, Zach McKinstrymaybe a minor league contract Jahmai Jones All of this helps fill the gaps around the diamonds and on the bench. Detroit also considered some provisional options, such as giving Javier Baez and Spencer Torkelson Some of the outfield’s representatives are just to provide as much flexibility as possible.
