NBA analysts tag Lebron James’ ‘selfishness’ after All-Star Shock

LeBron James dropped the bombshell because he wouldn’t be attending due to ongoing ankle issues.
His former teammate Kendrick Perkins was not happy with the Lakers star thing.
“Is there any problem with LeBron James missing the All-Star Game at the age of 40 due to injury? Absolutely not,” Perkins said. “But that’s what he does. He knows he won’t play when he might be selected for the All-Star game. How to get people to look up? It didn’t show up on the actual All-Star weekend an hour before the game started.”
Perkins continued: “Now, suddenly, you’re taking another guy who might win the All-Star game…in a damn uniform. That’s another thing; when he’s selfish, it stands out. It looks selfish…he should have handled it in a better way.”
Shannon Sharpe on ESPN first.
“I’m disappointed with LeBron,” Sharp said. “I believe LeBron knew on Wednesday night after the game that he wouldn’t play. Transparent
“If the report is true, LeBron didn’t even arrive until Saturday,” he added. “I just don’t understand. I believe Norman Powell is worth it (a place). If you’re not going to play, give it Others fill this place. Leaving Shaq only has seven guys instead of the usual eight. I disagree with the decision, and I think LeBron is selfish in this case. He knows he won’t play.”
Stephen A. I know there are a lot of things in him, I don’t know there are in him. Selfish? LeBron? Oh, my Lord. Did you bring this morning? You damn, he’s selfish, you Damn it. There is no way, and when (Commissioner) Adam Silver doesn’t have time to announce the replacement, you’ll sit there to announce it. And give Draymond the prop, Jaylen Jalen Rose, Vince Carter. All three of them pointed out this. They said the moment they found it, too.”
