Kevin Durant has shot Skip Bayless after his stern comments on Suns Star.
Bayless did not back down when talking about his old enemy KD during the show.
“The more I watched him at 36, the more he looked retired,” Bayless said. “He was in a documentary about his life and his time. To me, it was like he was ending basketball (profession). It reflected the Suns’ record of defeat. Because they started 8-1 this year. Since then, they went 20-31. As we said, they were 28-33 overall.
“Even Kevin came up with huge numbers, which are four games in the game. Kevin Durant-style numbers. He averaged 27-6-4, hitting 53% from the floor and hitting 40% from the three. But they just didn’t guard because they didn’t seem to care. They looked lifeless to me. They were the other side of the team at the top of the Western rankings. The Kevin team started and the team was motivated to go to places. The Phoenix Suns looked like they were done for me because Kevin looked as if he was mentally at the end. When he went to Golden State, he didn’t like it the way he used to. Now, to me, Kevin was just going through the action. The Suns were setting in the West.”
