Jacques Kruyswijk

Nairobi, Kenya – South Africa’s Jacques Kruyswijk won the Kenya Open on Sunday at Muthaiga Golf Club in Nairobi, with British veteran John Parry Beat his first European Tour champion.
Kruyswijk, 32, rushed to the rankings in the third round Saturday, leading by stroke overnight and 266 under par total , hit the final round of 67, ending a Wuji weekend on Sunday.
“I’m very proud of my mentality this week and the way I’ve played this golf course,” Kruiswick said. “What can I say? I’m so happy.”
The 38-year-old Parry led the lead after the first two rounds but had to win the runner-up award after shooting in the 14th serve, which allowed him to get his hole in the hole and let Kruyswijk escape. Parry finished four rounds with 68 strokes, totaling 268.
