Amazing Race’s Bridget and Ernest are caught up trying to “pass” the team

although Bridget and Ernest Cato Started the Japanese legs Amazing game First, unfortunate setbacks make them the last time.

Bridget, 28, exclusively told US Weekly Thursday, March 13, her and her father’s Amazing game eliminate. “We are with Carson [McCalley] and Jack [Dodge] and Brett [Hamby] and mark [Romain.] We just think they are ahead of us. ”

Bridget and Ernest, 59, are one of three teams, their first flight from Hong Kong to Osaka. When the father and daughter duo arrive at the starting challenge of the legs, they are surprised to find the first clue. However, there hasn’t been a return of the intersection since 2010 – they’re waiting for the next duo. (The intersection requires teams to be paired to complete the challenge.)

“So when we first got to the intersection we were shocked, but very, very happy to work with Brett and Mark,” she explained. “And then it was definitely us tall and then it just slowly [dissipated]. ”

Ernest completed the challenge with 37-year-old Romain, who was tasked with performing Taiko Drum routines. While Romain was a Las Vegas performer, who was able to master the task easily, Ernest struggled to lose both teams’ lead.

“[I was] Possibly a lack of note here and there. I think I don’t have the biggest rhythm here, I probably should. ” Ernest told us. “But we stick with it, we can do this part. We’re just behind.”

Ernest, Bridget, Romain and Hamby ended up leaving the intersection, but they realized they weren’t far behind the others. After leaving the drums, the group embarked on a detour challenge where they had the option of making a mochi or learning how to properly pack the sumo wrestler’s Mawashi uniform.

Both teams chose the sumo wrestling mission, and multiple teams there were still working, which made them very happy. Romain and Hamby were able to lead relentlessly, but Ernest and Bridget weren’t that lucky.

“We still have time to make up when we face the next challenge,” he reflected. “But we are there. If it was a football game, I think that would be fine.”

Due to the pressure in the last place, Ernest and Bridget “divided” while completing the task at hand – which could be their downfall.

“We caught up and passed,” Ernest explained. “We didn’t stop and think, maybe we should switch [tasks.]transparent

Bridget responded to a similar view, sharing that she hoped she and her father weren’t as simple as they believed.

“I hope we’re as excited as other teams, but rather we’re like ‘Holy Maury, why are they still there?'” “It must be a tough challenge, maybe [we should] Change to Molky. ”

In the middle of the game, it’s hard to say that one byte seems to be better than the other. But after watching the episode, Bridget thought she and her father could have completed Mochi’s mission “a little faster”.

Despite their losses, Bridget remains positive throughout the experience as she has to spend a good time with her father.

“At the end of the day, I’m in another country. I mean, I’m in Osaka, Japan. At the end of the day, I have the opportunity to compete with my father,” she shared. “Yes, it’s stressful, but I just want to continue reminding myself and being emotional, like in the end, not a lot of people have the opportunity to do something like this.”

Amazing game It airs on CBS Wednesday at 9:30 pm EST and is available on Paramount+ the next day.
