Can you practice from a bunker that is different from the bunker you are in?

What about the rules for waving practice from a bunker where you are not there?

Golf rules are tricky! Thankfully, we have masters. Our Rules guys know this book from beginning to end. Is there any problem? He has all the answers.
I’ve heard that if your ball is in one bunker, you can go into another bunker and practice hitting the sand. But I interpret Rule 12.2b as the meaning of all bunkers equally relevant. real? – Roy Shin, via email
Guy’s rules firmly believe that “to bunker to bunker” should strictly refer to a horrible sand game rather than jumping between traps to test the surface. But neither of us made the rules, Roy, we could only play with them.
While there was a clause specific to testing “similar hazards” for a while, restrictions and terms have gone to the path of Hickory Axis.
Rule 12.2b applies to the bunker where the ball is located, so nothing in the rule can stop a person from practicing swing in a similar bunker nearby – except for the annoyance of one’s companions and course maintenance workers.

My ball was held by a rake in a green bunker so it didn’t roll along the slope to the bottom of the bunker. I advised my game partner to lift the rake, which would let the ball roll into the bottom of the bunker. After all, if the rake doesn’t get there, that’s what it does. idea? – Bruce Gardner, Springs, South Africa
It sounds reasonable, Bruce…just not the right procedure.
There is no fine to remove the rake and cause the ball to move during this process. However, according to Rules 15.2 and 9.4, you have to change the ball in the original position. If the ball doesn’t stay on the scene after trying twice, then according to rule 14.2e you will find the nearest stationary position, no closer to the hole and the same bunker.
Gravity rules and golf rules are not always the same.
