Bears Punch AHL’s 2025 playoff tickets | theahl.com

Two-time defending Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears becomes the first team to berth 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs Sunday, thanks to defeating the Chicago Wolves 5-2.

Hershey made the 72nd playoff game in franchise history. Since becoming the top development branch of the Washington Capitals in 2005, the Bears have reached 16 playoffs in 18 attempts, won seven finals and won five Calder Cups. This spring, they will bid to become the second club in AHL history to win three consecutive titles.

Hershey (37-15-5-1, 80 points.) will be one of six teams that qualify for the Calder Cup playoffs in the Atlantic Division; the top two champions will make the semifinals, while the third to sixth teams will be in the first round series of two-thirds.
