Every team’s free agent spending so far

The New Year is the symbolic midpoint of the offseason. It’s been just over two months since the Dodgers beat the Yankees to win the World Series. There are still a little more than six weeks until pitchers and catchers report to spring training.
Twenty-six of MLBTR’s top 50 free agents are off the board. These include 6 of the top 10, as well as Riki Saaki (Because of limited earning power, there is no ranking). More than half of the money was spent—— Alex Bregman is the only unsigned player to make our top six free agents — but the offseason is proceeding at a relatively normal pace. It’s moving a little faster than it did last winter, when the calendar flipped to January and 22 of our top 50 players were already signed.
Using MLBTR’s Contract Tracker, we’ll take a look at each team’s activity on the open market. We’re going back to Nov. 4, the date when free agents were first allowed to begin discussing contract terms with each team. That’s in addition to two deals signed during an exclusive five-day negotiation window for teams to discuss contracts with them their own Free agency: $2.25 trade from Reds Brent Suter and the Royals retained. Michael Wacha Three-year, $51 contract.
This is not an exhaustive look at the team’s offseason activities. blue jays (Andres Jimenez),Angel(Jorge Soler), Cubs (Kyle Tucker) and the Yankees (Cody Bellinger) is one of the teams that acquires high-paid players through trades. Dodgers signing Tommy Edelman Extension to $64.5MM in guaranteed new funds. This is strictly a free agent event.
