Gulls player Sidorov named AHL Player of the Week TheAHL.com

Springfield, Massachusetts … American Hockey League announced today San Diego Gulls forward Yegor Sidorov has been selected as Howies Hockey Video/AHL Player of the Week Period ending December 15, 2024.
Sidorov had three goals, three assists and a +5 rating in two games for the Seagulls last week.
Sidorov scored twice, assisted on the game-winner and became the first star of the game in San Diego’s 5-4 victory over Henderson on Wednesday night. He then opened the scoring against San Jose on Saturday – his fourth consecutive game with a goal – and added two assists as the Gulls won 5-2, earning another one-star honor.
Sidorov, who was drafted by Anaheim in the third round of the 2023 NHL Draft, has 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 22 games this season, tying him with the Gulls for the scoring lead. The 20-year-old rookie from Vitebsk, Belarus, played three seasons of major junior hockey with Saskatoon of the Western Hockey League and was selected for the 2023 class after scoring 50 goals and 88 points in 66 games. -1st All-Star team in the Eastern Conference in 24 seasons.
