Diamondbacks sign JP Feyereisen signs minor league deal

The Rattlesnake has signed a right-handed JP Feyereisen According to the announcement of Reno Aces, the club’s Triple-A member, a minor league agreement was reached.
Feyereisen, 32, has been the 16th round pick for Cleveland in 2014, but did not debut with the Brewers in the 2020 shortened 2020 season with six reliefs. A brief cup of coffee, Feyereisen showed up in 2021 with a real first game that played a big role with Milwaukee. The right-handed had a solid 3.26 ERA in the 19 1/3 innings with the club at the beginning of the year, but was eventually transported to the Rays. Drew Rasmussen As part of the deal brought Willy Adames Arrived in Milwaukee in May that year.
The right-hander found another gear in Tampa and performed well for the rest of the process, with 2.45 ERA in 36 2/3 innings and 2.73 in 55 innings. Feyereisen’s peripherals leave some shortcomings, mainly due to FIP with a walking rate of 14.1%. However, these periphery issues disappeared in 2022 as Feyereisen’s season in Tampa began an extraordinary start. In 24 1/3 of the unrated frames, the rays will open for a year, and Feyereisen lowered the walking rate to 5.8%, while hitting 29.1% of the opponent with 1.67 FIP and 2.93 Siera. It was one of the best relief seasons in recent memory, but unfortunately, Feyerison’s campaign was shortened by a shoulder injury.
The shoulder barrier eventually wiped off the entire 2023 campaign after the right-hander had surgery on his rotator cuff. When Feyereisen returned to the Mound in 2024 (now a member of the Dodgers), he had a lot left. Last year, Feyereisen was shelled into the 8.18 ERA in 11 innings in Los Angeles, and even among minors, he worked hard to reach 5.48 ERA with a strikeout rate of 17.9%. This led to the Dodgers who had a 40-man roster in July last year, allowing him to elect free agents in November. He has been on the open market since then, but will now land in Arizona and try to reprise his major league role.
The Rattlers have already gone through the offseason to seek help from the bullpen, but have not secured the lock they hope to find. Although Feyereisen is almost uncertain, few people in the game show the kind of benefits he flashed during his ray tenure. If Arizona can even unlock some ceilings, Feyereisen has provided high leverage innings for the Rattlers sometime this season. However, right-handed is currently on the ticketing of Triple-A Reno, hoping to get his career back on track.
