Colorado Avalanche has won the striker Brock Nelson and move forward William Dufour From New York Islanders in exchange for defensemen Oliver Kylingtonmove forward Calum Ritchiea first-round pick in the 2026 NHL draft, a conditional third-round pick in the 2028 NHL draft.
Dufour, 23, has collected eight goals and 10 assists for the AHL’s Bridgeport Islanders this season. The third year pro scored a total of 44 goals and 47 assists in 169 AHL games, scoring 91 points.
Dufour, who was the Islanders’ fifth round choice in the 2020 NHL Draft, appeared in an NHL game and made his debut on January 18, 2023.
