JB Bukauskas underwent end-of-season LAT surgery

Winemaker JB Bukauskas According to Todd Rosiak of Milwaukee Journal Racing, he will undergo LAT surgery. The process comes with a 9-10 month recovery schedule, so it will end his season.
Bukauskas served as an invitation to the non-team after Milwaukee canceled his 40 last month from 40. The 28-year-old Righy spent most of last season on the 60-day injury roster. He threw six innings and one shot. In mid-April, a LAT injury sent him to Illinois State University and became the season-ending member. Unfortunately, this erupted again in the camp and would cost him the entire ’25 campaign.
Bukauskas was a first-round pick in 2017, making 33 appearances between three teams. In 30 1/3 innings, his average running volume was 5.04. He got footballs in 53.2% of his hits, but the injury prevented him from playing his usual bullpen role. Bukauskas has lost time to the elbow strain over the past few years, Teres has suffered a major (shoulder) injury, and several major LAT problems.
Since he is not in the 40-man roster, Bukuskas will spend a year in the minor leagues in Illinois. Next winter, he qualifies for minor league free agents, when he wanted to be healthy and wanted to catch up with somewhere with non-group spring training invitations.
