Southeast Missouri made history last June when it hosted an event in the Fayetteville area.
A 9-3 victory over Louisiana Tech in the elimination round gave the Redhawks their first region win since 2002 and their second in history.
The next day, they performed even better, defeating host Arkansas 6-3, eliminating the Razorbacks and advancing to the regional finals for the first time.
These two wins are huge in building confidence, which is no small thing as the OVC program competes with the best.
