Zverev reacts to heckler screaming his accuser’s name

As Zverev stood in front of a microphone preparing to address fans at the awards ceremony, a female fan at Rod Laver Arena shouted out the name of Zverev’s ex-girlfriends who have accused him of abuse.

“Wow,” Zverev said simply as he waited for the disruptor to stop.
The world number two runner-up then made a generous speech congratulating Sinner and praising Sinner as a worthy winner.
Asked about the outburst at the post-match press conference, Zverev said: “I think she was the only person in the stadium who believed anything at that moment.”
“I believe there will be no more accusations,” Zverev told media in Melbourne. Not for nine months. Good for her.
