“Hi everyone, I would like to share an update on my withdrawal from the Australian Open. Unfortunately, the back injury that plagued me at the end of last season is still not fully healed,” Krejcikova posted on social media. “It’s really disappointing because I loved playing in Melbourne and having great memories of reaching the quarter-finals last year.
“Thank you all for your support. I’m working hard to get back healthy and I can’t wait to see you on the court soon!”
