Usually, this is the cleanup batsman we get into the lineup, doing a four-week run on the West Coast swing, and one of my favorite super plots is the entire golf course. From Torrey Pines to Pebble Beach, to Phoenix, to the only Riviera Country Club, it’s four times as good as golf.

However, the devastating wildfires in Pacific Palisades, California, where Riviera is located force the 2025 Genesis Invitational to be held elsewhere, announced a few weeks ago that we will Go back to Torrey Pines to find out what is the third signature event of the young golf season.

The location of the Farmers Insurance Open, which Harris English won three weeks ago, will also be a four-round match in this week’s Southern course at Torrey Pines instead of North Course. one. Of course, golf courses aren’t much different, but reports show that this rough growth makes the already very difficult test even harder.

Some participants repeated this week. Harris English is back, with Sam Stevens, Andrew Novak and Sungjae IM all finished the top five here in late January. But there are many new faces, including Scottie Scheffler and the recent title at Pebble Beach at Rory McIlroy.

The size of the venue has been reduced by half this time: there are 72 players throughout the week, which is a game that will not be played.

Scottie Scheffle bets on his favorites in the 2025 Genesis Invitational, bounced his shot from his 15th T-shirt in the final round of the 2025 WM Phoenix Open.

The skills I focused on this week have not changed. They worked for us on 110-1 correctly on the landing of Harris English. Total driving is still a high priority, hitting it on the t-shirt. The Southern Field is the longest route these players faced in the Tour for nearly 7,800 yards, with a narrow landing area – we talked about the hardship of punishment. It will be very important to find fairways. And if you can add some length to it, there should be a long way to go this week.

Almost all of the 4 shots here are within the range of 450-500 yards. Three of the 3 rods are over 200 yards. I studied the strokes I got in 4 poles of that length and approached from a hole above 200 yards as a lot of approach shots would be hit from that distance. Finally, the competition will be another very important ingredient. English led this category of fields three weeks ago, and it was on the way to win. For SG: Putting, English ranks third in the field, and I also see this on the surface of POA Annua.

English has a very strong certificate in the relevant courses we use for farmers insurance here and we will use the same course again. Quail Hollow is home to Wells Fargo Championships, Jackson Country Club, Sanderson Farm Championships, Vidanta Vallarta, where they open the Mexican Open and Conras Golf Club, where They participated in the Corales Puntacana Championship. Also: Valhalla is home to last year’s PGA champion Caves Valley, where the 2021 BMW Championship was held and finally TPC Harding Park, which is home to the 2020 PGA Championship.

I’ve played the following five options for a thorough victory as well as the top 20.

Collin Morikawa (18-1)

Starting from finishing third in the Masters last season, Morikava has basically been the second best player in the world. He finished second in Kapalua earlier this year and won 17 spots on Pebble Beach two weeks ago. He ranks third for farmers here and fourth when Torrey Pines hosted the U.S. Open in 2021. Morikawa also finished 16th in Quail Hollow, finishing fourth in Valhalla in last year’s PGA Championship and won at Harding Park 2020 PGA champion. He has ranked fifth in this field in the past 24 rounds, earning good driving and ninth place. Morikawa is ranked 54th in total driving this season. He was 31 years old last year. He hit him in an average of less than 300 yards, which is not particularly high on the tour, but his driving accuracy is 10 in the world. After growing up in Southern California and attending Cal Berkeley, he was very familiar with the golf course and the Poa Annua Greens.

Tommy Fleetwood (47-1)

Ultimately, he has to win the PGA Tour, doesn’t he? Maybe it’s a week. Last season, he ranked 11th in driving accuracy and seventh in all driving and competition. Fleetwood has ranked 12th in this field and 3rd in T-shirts for the last 24 rounds, for SG: Approach. He ranked 26th in Valhalla, 29th in Harding Park, and finished 50th in the U.S. Open in 2021. He performed well at Quail Hollow, ending with a 13-5-14 record and competed in the WGC-Cadillac at Harding Park in 2015. Play, he ranks fifth. Fleetwood has ranked 26th in this field in the past 36 rounds: PUTTING (POA ANNUA).

Mavericks McKen (52-1)

If we were to have a Cal bear on the card, it would be better to have a Stanford Cardinal too. But, like Moricava, McNeley is another California kid who is very familiar with this course and these POA Annua Greens. He never missed Torrey Pines’ layoffs and was much the highest. He was at Sanderson Farms, 13th in Vidanta Vallarta and occupied in Valhalla last May. McNealley ranked 12th in the field in the past 24 rounds: Adventure, SG for the seventh time, third in 450-500 yards, and SG for the past 36 rounds: POA (POA Annua) ranked ninth.

Akshay Bhatia (78-1)

This is my first toe toe toe to Batia’s pool this season, but what he’s been doing doesn’t get people’s attention. I believe he is indeed a serious player and it will win again soon. He won the championship last season and finished the top 10, including the runner-up. He also finished eight top 20, including 13th in Torrey Pines’ debut last year. Similar to Morikawa and Fleetwood, he is not a tee bomber, but is very accurate, ranking 27th on the tour last season. Batia ranked fourth in this field in the last 24 rounds, and as another Californian, he ranked fourth in SG: Putting (POA Annua).

Gary Woodland (110-1)

While this is my first trip along Batia Street this season, it is my third week on woodland. He won the championship before Pebble Beach (2019 U.S. Open), he won in Phoenix in 2018, and at Torrey Pines, he had two top ten and three Top 20. He has ended this season with a 16-22-21 record so far, and he has been one of the best in the business in terms of overall driving. He has been in the top 5 in all categories in the field over the last 24 rounds and has also ranked in the top 5 in SG: Approach. He is already 16 years oldTh At Sanderson Farms, there were two top five in Quail Hollow, and in 2015, Woodland finished second in McIlroy in the WGC-Cadillac competition at Harding Park. As long as you keep good performance, maybe some putts are dropped, the woodland should compete again.
