Three-time Major Champion Jordan Spieth made a quick start in Scottsdale on Thursday, creating two birdies in his five holes to get into the red numbers early.

Spieth will start his second round in the first nine Fridays and kick off with Nick Taylor and Hideki Matsuyama at 2:44 PM ET.
