Spieth started from the beginning with WM Phoenix Open. He argued until Sunday’s last nine games, ending with the Under-16 game to finish T4. Given that this is only the second game since Spieth returned from wrist surgery, it’s an encouraging signal.
Now, Spieth will try to keep the momentum as he faces a piled field in Torrey Pines.
