Texas State has 27 new players on its roster for the 2025 season.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But nothing else.
Two seasons ago, the Bobcats made tremendous progress under head coach Steven Trout, going 47-14 overall and just one goal shy of advancing to the NCAA Super Regionals. They failed to make the NCAA Tournament two seasons ago but went 36-23 overall and 17-13 in the Sun Belt, which is certainly nothing to scoff at.
