- Travelers have a chance to win a free cruise to Antarctica with National Geographic.
- You must be 18 years or older to enter, and can submit an entry once per day starting April 15.
- The educational cruise includes airfare and access to National Geographic experts.
In celebration of Earth Day, National Geographic is giving away a cruise to a far-flung, traveler-favorite destination.
A lucky winner will receive a 12-day cruise through Antarctica onboard the National Geographic Resolution or National Geographic Endurance vessels. The giveaway is also providing round-trip coach airfare, meals, and daily excursions (think kayaking, boating near icebergs, and encountering wildlife.)
Best of all, the giveaway is for two people, so the lucky winner can bring someone with them to enjoy the journey of a lifetime. Onboard the cruise, National Geographic staff such as biologists and geologists will be on-hand to provide information and education about the surroundings.
Travelers can enter once per day on the National Geographic website (natgeo.com) from April 15 to April 30. There are certain rules, such as entrants must be 18 years or older and citizens of the United States.
For reference, the National Geographic Resolution and Endurance are both 71-cabin ships that are rated as Polar Class 5 vessels. This means they can easily navigate through icy conditions and the challenging weather in the Antarctic region.
The National Geographic cruises are operated in partnership with Lindblad Expeditions, which was recently ranked as one of the favorite intimate-ship Ocean Cruise Lines of 2024 by Travel + Leisure readers in the World’s Best Awards.
Fun Fact: in its annual Luxe Report, luxury travel advisor network Virtuoso named Antarctica the top adventure destination of 2025. Nearly 70 cruise ships journey to the continent each year.
The giveaway is part of The Walt Disney Company and National Geographic’s ourHOME campaign to celebrate Earth and encourage people to help protect and restore the planet. Throughout the month, and beyond, Disney+ is also launching a variety of special content offerings celebrating the planet such as Disneynature’s “Guardians of the Galapagos.” National Geographic will also launch a special program called Secrets of the Penguins on Disney+ as part of the ourHOME programming focus.
