Chinese humanoid robot lands in the world’s first forward flip

China’s clan robotics technology (also known as Engineai) has officially entered the scene of humanoid robots, releasing a videotape showing the front flip of what it claims to be the world’s first human human robot.
The bouncing on the back of a robot becomes commonplace, but as any gymnast has proven, the front flip is much more difficult than the rear-air missile.

Forward: It’s very important
The challenge for robots trying to do a forward flip is to maintain balance and control throughout the rotation.

Unlike humans, robots rely on precise sensor data and motor control to perform complex motions. During the forward flip, the robot must quickly move its weight, adjust the center of gravity and coordinate the movement of its limbs to ensure a smooth and controlled landing.
Engineai overcomes the major challenges of robotics by programming its PM01 to collect enough force to rotate forward while calculating the correct angular velocity and torque.

Robots don’t feel scared
Of course, this is a robot, it has no fear, no hesitation, and no sense of self-protection. Its designers can put a variety of powerful motors and joints into its anatomy and have been coded and indicated to flip so it can be flipped.

Engineai’s PM01: Details
This is still an impressive feat as robotics, especially the field of humanoids, universal robots, is moving forward at an incredible pace. Ten years ago, this kind of thing didn’t exist at all. Now you can buy your own open source PM01 Robot According to the Engineai website, there are 13,700.
Its specifications are not bad, with five degrees of freedom per arm and six degrees of freedom per leg, and the overall degree of freedom of movement is 23 degrees. The robot also has 221 lb-ft of torque (300 nm), and when the little guy is 4.5 feet tall and weighs 88 pounds, the front stud of the general humanoid humanoid robot from the Engineai and like a champion, it’s just as impressive as humans most like humans, it seems like a punch.
