Woman arrested after trying to smuggle 22 pounds of methamphetamine in carry-on luggage as Christmas gift
Attentive officers at a New Zealand airport unraveled $2 million worth of methamphetamine that a Canadian woman was trying to hide wrapped as Christmas gifts.

Auckland Airport manager Paul Williams called the incident “a typical attempt by transnational organized crime groups to take advantage of the busy tourist season”.
