Futurum Group CEO Daniel Newman shares insights on the growing influence of artificial intelligence (AI) agents in 2025 market dominance.
Newman estimates that artificial intelligence agents represent a $4 trillion annual global market opportunity over the next five years, describing it as a “huge opportunity” for the company. He explained that these AI solutions can provide organizations with thousands of “human-like workers” to handle automated tasks.
“Agent use cases are used to help increase productivity and … create more efficient economics for the business,” he told Yahoo Finance.
Newman said artificial intelligence agents are gaining traction because they enable companies to start “unlocking the value of enterprise data to create productivity growth.” “We’re going to see it embedded in every software stack,” he predicted.
When discussing the prospects for large technology companies under the new Trump administration, Newman expressed optimism: “I think he will want to see these companies continue to prosper.” He also expects M&A activity in the industry to increase next year.
