The Cardinals need to look elsewhere.
Will Salmon and Katie Wu of The Athletic reported this week that the Arenado trade has had little traction since negotiations broke down in Houston. The Yankees, who had long been speculative, were apparently not as interested as they first appeared. YES Network’s Jack Curry disputed that notion last week. Jon Heyman also said on Bleacher Report live yesterday that the Yankees are more likely to hold on DJ LeMahieu Instead of following Arenado.
Where will Mozeliak and company go from here?
