After online backlash, Don Lemon still rants to Trump supporters: ‘Too bad’
Former CNN host Don Lemon called Trump supporters “stupid idiots” and told “hateful” critics it was “too bad.”
At the start of his YouTube show on Tuesday night, Lemon addressed the backlash he received days earlier after calling MAGA supporters “stupid and stupid” in an expletive-filled rant.
While he insisted he was responding to those who reacted “racistly” to President-elect Donald Trump’s appointment of Sriram Krishnan as a senior adviser on artificial intelligence, he went on to further his attacks. Trump supporters.

“So, as always, everyone gets hurt! And I don’t mean all Trump supporters,” Lemon said. “I’m talking to MAGA-minded people who will say anything and do anything to excuse any behavior from Donald Trump, any bad behavior from the MAGA movement.”
He continued, “So, yeah, I stand by my words! If you don’t like what I say, that’s too bad, I don’t care!”
Lemon also accused Trump supporters of “hypocrisy” in defending their “cult leader” while attacking his language.
“You’re just such a mess. You expect more from me, an independent journalist, a former cable news host, than you expect from the guy sitting in the Oval Office. Because his mouth is worse than mine,” Lemons said.

In his original video, Lemon called supporters of President-elect Donald Trump “dumb idiots” and mocked their “dumb MAGA brains.”

“You’re so fucking stupid and you deserve this. You fucking deserve this because you’re so stupid,” he said. “Yes, I gloat at your stupidity.”

“You’re being co-opted because you’re in a fucking cult and you don’t even realize it because you have a stupid MAGA brain and you don’t get it,” he added. “How stupid, how stupid are you?”
