When you think about it, the holidays are a paradox: They’re all about family reunions, but too many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners start with some fine wine and end with the most obnoxious arguments this side of Reddit. If this sounds a bit like your own holiday experience, then you’re probably longing for the day when your family can get along as normal people. For those of you who want to be with your family again, here’s some good news: You can stream independence DayThe movie that brought the country together airs today on Hulu.
Independence Day is full of greatness

If you have never seen independence Day (on Hulu, in theaters, or anywhere in between), you should know that it has a very simple premise. When aliens invade Earth and begin mass murder of humanity, the fate of the entire world rests on the shoulders of a brilliant jet pilot and an eccentric computer technician. Whether they succeed, however, may ultimately depend on the contributions of everyone, from an inspirational U.S. president to an alcoholic Vietnam veteran.
One compelling reason to check out the creature feature is the otherworldly cast, which includes Will Smith as a brash pilot and Jeff Goldblum as a top computer technician. Bill Pullman stars as a president facing the greatest crisis in the history of the world, and his wife is battlestar galactica Queen mary macdonald. Other memorable and great actors in this movie include Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, and Randy Quaid (this is almost certainly the best movie of his career).
watch independence Day On Hulu, we can do a great job reliving the iconic speech Pullman’s character gave to unite the world against a common threat. In real life, the world must have come together to turn this Hollywood blockbuster into a galactic hit. With a budget of only $75 million, the film grossed a staggering $817.4 million, ultimately prompting 20th Century Fox to release a sequel that was inferior in every way (we’re sorry to say).
bring audiences together

independence Day Hulu brought the world together before it was even a thing in the streaming stratosphere, and it did something nearly impossible: bring viewers and critics together. The film has a score of 68% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics generally agreeing that the film makes up for its thin characterization with the thrills and spectacle we’ve come to expect from summer blockbusters. As for audiences, the film received a popcorn rating of 75%, indicating that casual moviegoers were generally more enthusiastic about the film than more discerning fans.
All these years later, it’s clear that there’s more to this movie than just hype. Will Smith’s charisma helps him steal every scene, and his manic energy is a perfect fit for Jeff Goldblum’s knight in nerd armor. At this point, Bill Pullman is the perfect movie president, and after his combination of rousing speeches and death-defying heroics, you might wish our own politicians were half as inspiring and awesome abilities.
In many ways, Pullman’s character underscores the core of the film… when you rewatch it independence Day On Hulu, you might be surprised to learn that this movie is more than just the sum of its explosive action movies. Everyone remembers the iconic scene of aliens blowing up the White House, and because of that, it’s hard to remember that this movie was less about tearing things apart and more about putting things together. As we sink further into the chaos of a country divided by everything from politics to social media, the film’s vision of international unity is a fantasy we can definitely get behind.
you will find independence Day As inspiring as I am when I stream this movie on Hulu, or do you want to say “Welcome to Earth” by throwing it on the ground? You won’t know until you check it out for yourself. Afterwards, you can help us try to answer a burning question: How on earth did aliens develop interstellar travel before they invented malware-blocking software?
