Wall Street Week | Seeking Alpha

Investors will print PCE price index this week in January on Friday. That is the Fed’s preferred inflation scale. The second estimate of U.S. GDP in the fourth quarter expired Thursday, as well as durable commodity data last month.

The highlight of next week’s earnings calendar will be NVIDIA (NVDA), the world’s most valuable chip maker. Analysts at Keybanc Capital Markets expect that despite it facing GB200 NVL restrictions, the company will provide “strong” results and guidance when reporting quarterly results next week.

Other notable income names include Home Depot (HD), Intuit (Intu), Salesforce (CRM), and Workday (WDAY).

Investment Group Focus

NVIDIA (NVDA) is scheduled to report earnings on February 26 after the bell. The market expects sales to be approximately $38.1B and sales to standardized EPS are $0.84. Here, top-line numbers will be especially important as the market will look for signs of sustained growth, especially in the profitable enterprise AI GPU space.

Although NVIDIA’s fourth-quarter sales were only $37.5B, Nvidia often sandbags for forecasts, making it easier for AI market leaders to provide more than expected results. Therefore, NVIDIA can provide $38-39B of sales while potentially getting a slight pace in terms of EPS. Guidance is particularly critical, as the market wants to see continued strong demand for NVIDIA AI products despite recent DeepSeek and other related events.

Despite high expectations, I expect NVIDIA to provide another constructive revenue report that should support its share price trajectory and other high-quality AI picks. Discover more analysis of Victor Dergunov with SA Investing Group service – Financial Prophet.
