Republican representatives set up judicial task force seeking impeachment “radical judges”

First on Fox: Georgia Republican Representative Andrew Clyde and Arizona Eli Crane are setting up a judicial task force to “harmonize members to expose judicial activism” and aim to “rogue, activist judges” as legal challenges challenge Trump’s agenda.
“I’m excited to work with my friend and Patriot, Congressman Eli Crane, for this critical effort. Our judicial activist accountability aims to unite members to expose judicial activism, with the ultimate goal of harming rogue judges.”
Clyde announced in February that he was drafting an impeachment article based on Rhode Island District Judge John McConnell, who is overseeing lawsuits against President Donald Trump. McConnell filed a motion at the time ordering the Trump administration to comply with previous restraining orders. The order temporarily blocked the government’s efforts to suspend federal grants and loans.

Since then, Crane and other representatives have followed Clyde’s leadership to announce impeachment articles against other judges who presided over Trump’s lawsuit.
Clyde said he encouraged other members of Congress to join a “working group that is passionate about ending the abuse of justice, maintaining separation of power and defending the U.S. Constitution,” they said, “looking forward to fulfilling responsibility to the American people.”
Crane announced that he was drafting an improvisation article against U.S. District Court Judge Paul Engelmayer, who told Fox News in a statement that in recent years, “the leftist has weaponized the judiciary.”
“If these activists want to be politicians, they should resign and run for office,” Arizona Republican said.

“The American people have given President Trump the task to undermine the executive state,” Crane said. “These judges are against the will of the people, and Congress has constitutional powers for impeachment and convictions.”
Rep. Andy Ogles, Republican of Tennessee, also announced that he is drafting an improvised article after Clyde and Crane’s efforts.

Clyde spoke with Fox News Digital shortly after announcing an improvised article on McConnell, saying the real victim of judicial reverse Trump policy was the American people.
“You’re not just hurting the president,” Clyde said. “You’re hurting the American people because they’re the people who elected him, and they’re the people who want him to do it – exercising these specific authorities. These judges do deny the rights of the American people.”
