Video shows our Coast Guard rescues 3 stranded crew members from a capsized boat

U.S. Coast Guard video shows three boatmen were rescued after the boat tilted over the weekend on the Florida coast.

The rescue mission was conducted on Sunday, when the Coast Guard was called out to discover three overdue crew members near Seva Island.

A family member of a crew member informed the Coast Guard about 1 a.m. Sunday that their last contact with the three crew members was at 8 p.m. Saturday, on the 20-foot-tall center console.

After the report, the Coast Guard Flight Station Clearwater MH-60 helicopter crew flew out after the report to find the missing crew.

The crew also called for assistance from the Fort Myers Beach fleet at Coast Guard, which arrived at the scene and handed over all three crew members safely to the scene.

They were then taken to Coast Guard Station for evaluation.

Officials are unsure what caused the ship to tilt.
