Venezuela closed its border and airspace with Colombia on Friday, a day before President Nicolás Maduro was sworn in as the country’s top authority. Venezuela has set up roadblocks in the middle of the Simon Bolivar International Bridge, which spans the Tachira River, the natural border between Colombia and Venezuela.
