One day after the Fed maintains interest rates, the data released on Thursday showed that the economy was over and there was no sign of economic recession. The US economy increased by 2.8 % in 2024, compared with 2.9 % in the previous year. At the same time, last week’s new unemployment benefits application performance exceeded expectations.

From the perspective of the calendar, the Fed’s preferred inflation scale (called PCE) will be released on Friday. EXXONMOBIL and Chevron also released their quarter results.

In the company’s headline news, UPS is at the point of relationship with Amazon, where it is ready to end with this embarrassing dialogue: I think we should see others. UPS announced that the delivery of the Amazon package will be reduced by 50 % in the second half of 2026.

The world’s largest consignor and the world’s largest e -commerce company Amazon’s relationship change, because UPS feels its calories in the huge packaging of the Amazon ship. Because large -capacity pricing structures have been established, there are not many money to make UPS and other Amazon kits. UPS CEO Caroltomé bluntly called investors: “Amazon is our largest customer, but this is not our most favorable customer.”

When you sit down on Amazon or any other website, you may not know this-but for UPS, the free or low-cost delivery fee for you is high. In 2024, the company charged $ 92 billion in transportation. Even with Amazon’s change, UPS predicts that the number will decline in 2025.

This will be done for your daily briefing. I am Conway, the New York Stock Exchange, with TheStreet.
