Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on February 5 that a prisoner between Russia and Ukraine had swapped 150 prisoners who returned home, thanked the UAE and other “partners” for mediation This deal.
“Today is a wonderful day for all of us. We will return 150 defenders from Russian captivity,” Zelensky said. He added: “Some people have been imprisoned for more than two years.”
The Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for Treating Prisoners of War said this was the 61st such exchange, bringing 4,131 combatants and civilians back to Ukraine.
