Two small earthquakes in the Malibu region rattle.
The first reportedly was around 11:44 pm on Friday and was registered as level 3.7. It is felt in the West Side, the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County, as well as the Los Angeles Basin and the South Bay.
The second earthquake was a second magnitude earthquake hit in the same area at 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Residents in Ventura County were shocked and triggered some car alerts.
The center is 7 miles northwest of Malibu and nine miles southwest of Oaks.
No reports of damage.
