What time does The Voice final start tonight on ITV?

TEN MONTHS after the competition started, the ninth season of The Voice UK will come to an end.

Coronavirus had saw the singing contest put on hold, but now the final four will go head-to-head to see who takes home the trophy.

What time is The Voice UK 2020 final?

The Voice UK 2020 final will take place TONIGHT – Saturday, November 14.

It will kick off at 8.40pm on ITV 1.

You can also watch it online via the ITV Hub.

All four finalists will sing an original song during the show.

Who are the acts in the final?

Gevanni Hutton

Gevanni Hutton is hoping to become one of the competition's youngest ever winners at the age of just 17.

He only moved from Jamaica to London two years ago, but is now hoping to win a recording contract, after flourishing under the tutelage of will.i.am.

In his audition, only the former Black Eyed Peas artist turned around, but he has repaid the faith, progressing through the rounds after singing John Lennon's Imagine, People Help the People by Cherry Ghost and Jimmy Cliff's Many Rivers to Cross.

Jonny Brooks

The oldest of the quartet, 28-year-old Jonny Brooks hopes to swap being a cathedral janitor for a recording contract at Polydor Records.

The Irishman chose Tom Jones as his mentor, after the 'Sex Bomb' singer and Olly Murs were impressed by his rendition of Sweet Thing by Van Morrison.

He eased through the battle round, singing Us by James Bay, having also belted out The Beatles' Don't Let Me Down and Million Reasons by Lady Gaga to reach the final.

Brooke Scullion

Derry's Brooke Scullion will be opening "a big bottle of prosecco" and "allow myself one day to be hungover then get to work on new music" if she wins on Saturday night, according to Heatworld.

The 20-year-old was the first person to audition, as her rendition of Bruises by Lewis Capaldi saw all of the judges turn around and hit their buttons, before choosing Meghan Trainor to be her coach.

She saw off Jordan Phillips in their battle round, singing Adele's Water Under the Bridge.

Brooke has also proved her worth with versions of Stay by Rihanna, and Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus's Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.

Should she win in final and earn herself a recording contract, it will be a long way from her job at a petting zoo.

Blessing Chitapa

The second 17-year-old in the final, Blessing Chitapa is a student from Dudley.

Olly Murs was the only judge impressed by her version of I'd Rather Go Blind by Ellington Jordan in the auditions – but she has wowed the rest since.

She beat Beryl McCormack in their battle of Westlife's Flying Without Wings before progressing to the final with renditions of We Won't Move by Arlissa and Badfinger's Without You.

Who are the coaches?

Following the addition of fresh-faced Meghan Trainor to the judging panel in place of Jennifer Hudson, this is how the coaching line-up has looked for 2020:

  • will.i.am, who is best known from Black Eyed Peas
  • Olly Murs, a X Factor success story turned TV presenter
  • Tom Jones, the Welsh singing legend
  • Meghan Trainor, the US singer known for releasing All About That Bass

Why isn’t Meghan Trainor judging The Voice UK 2021?

Meghan Trainor won't be on next year's edition of the show because she is now pregnant.

She announced that she's expecting her first child with her husband Daryl Sabara in October 2020.

The singer made a statement confirming that she wouldn't be involved with the next series.

"I had such a great time being a coach on The Voice UK and spending time with everyone!

"I wish I could come back for season 10, but I’m taking time to start my family and want to be really safe with the current travel restrictions.

"I’ll be missing you all very much and hope to see you soon!"

Who won the last series of The Voice UK?
