Anna Williamson has insisted "misunderstood" Wayne Lineker was "unfairly judged" on Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion.
The Ocean Beach boss, 58, received criticism online after he revealed he's never been in a relationship with a girl over the age of 30.
Speaking to Daily Star exclusively, celebrity dating agent Anna said Wayne didn't deserve the online hate as he's "a very kind man" with "a big heart".
When asked if she thinks he was misunderstood by some viewers, Anna said: "Yes I do actually and I will really, really stick up for Wayne here and fly a flag for him.
"Wayne is a great guy. He's just really cheeky and I actually think, refreshingly, he will just say what he feels, even if he knows… some people are going to sort of tut."
Anna continued: "If you're not hurting anybody or harming anyone in the process, then why not?"
The television star added: "He is so judged and I think very unfairly."
Speaking about the online hate Wayne received, Anna said: "I think that anyone that casts judgement and points fingers and wants to badmouth him, I think all need to really just look at themselves and go, 'you know what, we're all guilty of having our little niches and things', and there's a real reason why Wayne has gone through what he's gone through and why he perhaps prefers younger women.
"Which perhaps hasn't come out properly on the telly, but everyone has a back story and he's a really, really good guy."

Anna added that Wayne is going to treat everyone who was on the show to a weekend at Ocean Beach.
She said: "He is a very, very kind man. He has a very very big heart. As I speak he is arranging to treat everyone that was in the Celebs Go Dating mansion to a weekend at Ocean Beach.
"He's such a sweet man to go to all that effort, he's a family man."
Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion aired for the final time last night as the series came to a close.
The last episode saw the celebrities and their dates enjoy an end of series party with a commitment ceremony.
This saw them reveal if they wanted to continue seeing their partner outside of the show.
Coronation Street's Kimberly Hart-Simpson and her date Shane are still together after the series.
Celebrity contestants Tom Zanetti and Sophie Hermann are also still an item after they got together on the show.
