She sprang to fame as one of the original cast members of popular reality show The Only Way Is Essex, but it turns out that Sam Faiers was actually on TV years earlier.

In our exclusive clip from tonight’s episode of The Mummy Diaries, it’s revealed that Sam made her TV debut aged just three in a 1994 episode of children’s TV series, Sooty & Co Show.

As Sam and her family celebrate her milestone 30th birthday virtually with a quiz about who knows her best, sister Billie grills her loved ones with a series of telling questions.

During one round, Dancing on Ice star Billie asks the question: “What year did Samantha make her first TV appearance?”

Smiling knowingly Sam, who is sat on a sofa alongside partner Paul and children Paul and Rosie, laughs: “No one’s going to know that.”

But it seems her prediction is wrong when mum Suzanne reveals the answer as the others try to guess when it could have been.

This comes after last week’s instalment of the ITVBe reality show where Sam also celebrated her milestone birthday with Billie and Suzanne.

To mark the special occasion, Billie and Suzanne chose to write heartfelt messages to Sam telling her just how much she means to them.

And it wasn’t long before emotions ran extremely high between the three, as they opened up on their “unbreakable bond.”

Speaking about the touching moment viewers witnessed as the women reflected on their relationship and the memories they have shared together over the years, Sam said: “I’m just an emotional wreck. The three of us have got an unbreakable bond.”

She added: “I just feel so special at this point, I feel so loved. I feel really emotional.”
