Joe Swash and Eamonn Holmes appeared alongside their significant others Stacey Solomon and Ruth Langsford on Wednesday's day time chat show Loose Women.
Things were going well until Joe Swash came up against his wife-to-be who questioned whether he even knew when they were scheduled to say 'I do'.
Much to her surprise, he did know the exact date and blurted it out live on-air leaving Stacey totally shocked and fuming.
He said: "I do know when it is, it's the last Sunday in July."
With the cat out of the bag, Stacey interjected: "Joe!!! I can't believe you've just done that."
Trying to cover up Joe slip of the tongue, Ruth explained that she would be getting her "hat ready" for the big day after awkwardly confirmed that she and husband Eamonn were free that weekend.
Fans on the couples version dubbed Loose Loved Ones took to Twitter in hysterics following Joe's blunder that left Stacey foaming at the mouth.
One online user joked: "Joe knows nothing…ha! Wooops #LooseWomen."
Another chimed: "Stacey are we allowed to say? LOL"
A third quipped: "There's going to be a row in the car going home now Joe has let slip when they're getting married. #LooseWomen."
While a third pointed out: "Now Stacey can’t do the big date reveal on Loose Women on a later show lol. #LooseWomen #looselovedones."
After they the ITV programme returned from the break Eamonn decided to make matter worse for Stacey's fiancee Joe bringing up the faux pas again.
Ruth was quick to stop her husband in his tracks adding: "He's in enough trouble already."
Later on, the foursome discussed if stag do's should be a thing of the past which seemed to rattle Joe's cage as he was hoping to venture of on his own soon.
He said: "Why can't we cancel Hens instead? Why the stag?"
