Piers Morgan brands Denise Welch hypocrite in fresh rant at Loose Women star
Piers Morgan and Louis Walsh clash over Eurovision
TalkTV star Piers Morgan, 58, began a tirade against Denise Welch in his latest column for The Sun.
The former Good Morning Britain host branded the Loose Women panelist a “vile, spiteful hypocrite”.
His rant against Denise came as Piers took aim at ITV in light of Phillip Schofield’s sensational This Morning exit.
After slamming his former Good Morning Britain star Alex Beresford, who he had an on-air spat with, he turned his attention to Denise.
Sharing his thoughts on the actress and presenter in a scathing attack of the 65-year-old, he labelled her “vile”.
Piers’ own ITV exit wasn’t dissimilar to Phillip’s, with the two making headlines which overshadowed their respective programmes.
While Piers decided to leave after walking off the set for being criticised by Alex for his blasting of Meghan Markle, Phillip’s speculated row with Holly was what decided his fate.
After weeks of reports suggested the two had fallen out, Phillip addressed the claims by stating the pair were still “strong”.
It’s rumoured Phillip’s statement to the press is what caused a further rift between himself and Holly.

On Saturday, Phillip announced he would be leaving This Morning “with immediate effect”.
ITV confirmed Phillip agreed to step away from This Morning in a statement to Express.co.uk.
An ITV spokesperson said: “Phillip Schofield’s decision to step down from This Morning was (as his statement made clear) a decision agreed between Phillip and ITV.”
