England lioness Jill Scott was left startled by her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp mate’s bravery as he took a dip in the camp creek in his “budgie smugglers”. The footballer noted “nothing stops him” as he squeezed into the tropical print speedos.

Mike certainly wasn’t shy as he stripped down to his blue swimwear which featured a print of tropical fruit.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Jill commented: “It’s freezing in there [the creek] but nothing stops Mike from turning up in his little budgie smugglers.

“He’s got a few different pairs from what I can see and he’s getting more confident, showing them off daily.”

Mike seemed more than happy to showcase the snazzy pair of speedos and it’s not the first time viewers have seen him strip off.

Earlier in the week, host Ant McPartlin joked Zara Tindall would be looking for her swimwear which Mike had packed.

He teased: “I tell you what did come as a shock, what about that swimwear?

“I want to know what Zara was thinking of that… ‘That’s where my bikini bottoms went!’”

It seems Mike has always been a fan of jazzy underwear as he previously revealed he flashed Princess Anne while wearing boxers which read “nibble my nuts” on them.

Sitting with his campmates, he recalled: “I love a suit. My problem with suits is I over exaggerate dancing at weddings… I rip a lot of suits, trousers and stuff.

“The old sl*t drop gets me every time. I went to a wedding, ripped a suit, they were like, ‘Oh my God, what are you going to do?’ I was like, ‘Don’t worry I’ve got a spare.’

“They were like, “Who brings a spare suit?” Someone who rips a lot of trousers brings a spare suit.”

Mike went on to reveal: “Zara had like a 30th birthday, it was a disco 70s themed one, I was dancing on the dance floor, I had like flares on, full outfit but it was quite tight, nothing ever fits – rugby player’s bum and legs – so I was dancing with my mother-in-law and I did a sl*t drop in front of my mother-in-law.

“Ripped my trousers, straight in front of her. It happened to be that my boxers that I had on at that time said ‘nibble my nuts.’”

As the camp burst into laughter, Mike revealed the Princess Royal’s hilarious reaction.

“As I’ve turned round, she’s gone, ‘I’d rather not.’ I’ve gone, ‘I’m going’ and walked off.”

Co-star Seann Walsh giggled: “What a legend. Absolute legend. I would love to go to a party with Mike.”

Mike is currently one of the favourites to win the I’m A Celebrity crown when the series ends in just over a week.

The bookies have Jill Scott priced at even-money to go all the way, with Mike Tindall second in the betting at 7/2.

Elsewhere, as things stand, Owen Warner (6/1) and Matt Hancock (8/1) are the only names priced shorter than 14/1 to be crowned winner of this series.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Jill Scott continues to lead the way in this year’s I’m A Celebrity betting, and as things stand there are no more than three names likely to challenge her for the crown.”

I’m A Celebrity continues 9pm on ITV.
